We use cookies and Google Analytics 4 to keep the Website running properly and to understand how it is used.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Some cookies are necessary for the Website to work. Others help us get statistics (for example, which pages are visited, where visitors come from, how long they stay).

Google Analytics 4 is provided by Google Ireland Limited. It uses cookies and similar technologies to generate aggregated reports about Website traffic and usage. We see only statistics and do not use Google Analytics to identify individual users.

You can control cookies in your browser settings (block or delete them). If the Website uses a cookie banner, you can change your preferences there as well. Disabling necessary cookies may affect how the Website works.

6. Disclosure of data to third parties

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it only with:
  • service providers who help us operate the Website and our business (for example, hosting providers, IT support, analytics providers like Google Analytics);
  • public authorities if we are legally required to do so (for example, tax or law enforcement authorities).
Service providers may process data only according to our instructions and must ensure appropriate confidentiality and security.

7. International data transfers

Some service providers (including Google) may be located in countries outside the EU/EEA or use data centres in such countries.

In these cases, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place as required by GDPR, for example standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

8. Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law.

In general:
  • enquiry and communication data is kept for up to 3 years after our last contact, unless we need it longer (for example, in case of potential claims);
  • contract and accounting data is kept for the period required by Latvian accounting and tax laws (usually at least 5–10 years);
  • Google Analytics data is stored according to the settings in the analytics system (for example, about 14–26 months, or another period we configure).
After these periods expire, data is deleted or anonymised.

  • Withdrawal of consent: where processing is based on your consent (for example, certain cookies), you can withdraw it at any time.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In Latvia, this is the Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija).

To exercise your rights, please contact us at order@kitchenprof.lv
